Paul Burns

Paul a native Londoner worked at ad agencies in the eighties and early-nineties as designer and art director. He then made an impact as production designer with director Nick Love in the acclaimed short film Love Story.


Paul went onto work with Nick again on feature films The Football Factory and The Business. Some other of Paul’s film credits include the multi-award winning Its All Gone Pete Tong and The Anomaly starring Luke Hemsworth, Noel Clarke, Brian Cox and Alexis Knapp. One of Paul’s latest collaborations is the Feature 10x10 Staring Luke Evens and Kelly Riley which is being released this Summer. In addition, Paul has worked with some of the biggest selling musicians working as designer on music videos, including those for Justin Bieber, One Direction, JLS, Olly Murs and Demi Lovato. Paul has also designed many TV commercials for companies such as Apple Music, Nescafe, and Sainsbury’s. TV show credits include Waterloo Road for the BBC; Text Santa for ITV; Dream Team for Sky TV and BAFTA nominated Cyber Bully with Maisie Williams for C4. Paul always strives to push the boundaries of conventional design and always invests in new techniques and technologies to ensure that whether it be construction, design or dressing, his sets are always unique.
