Vivo D'Arte Patron

Jeff Stewart

Our Patron, Jeffrey Stewart, is Professor of Singing at the Royal College of Music. Jeff studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (where he won the Harold Rosenthal award for outstanding achievement) and at the National Opera Studio.

Jeff is currently enjoying a busy world-wide career and his dramatic tenor voice is much in demand, both in opera
and on the concert platform. After a very successful debut in the role of Peter Grimes in Gera, Germany for which Jeff has received great critical acclaim, he is now back in England preparing, amongst other things, to return to Covent Garden for the production of Anna Nicole.

In October he will be travelling to Cape Town and Johannesburg to sing Gerontius. Next year sees a return to Germany to sing Grimes in Altenburg and Laça in Jenůfa.
